Brother’s kanye x kid cudi

Art Package

On August 19, 2019, I released the art package, Brothers - Kanye West x Kid Cudi. What made this release so special from any of my other enamel pin releases was that I created an entire experience, and a limited edition of 50 art packages'. I allowed people to learn about the why behind this design on my blog, experience the package, and a private link to a curated mix of songs by Kanye West and Kid Cudi have collaborated on was sent to every customer who purchased the package.

I created the sketch to the left and the illustration to the right after Kanye announced on his Twitter that him and Kid Cudi would be creating a joint album called "Kids See Ghosts." Of course, I was happy to hear the news, and that the album would be dropping June 8, 2018. I added a twist to dropout bear Kanye, including Yeezy's on his feet and him carrying his laptop, of course, for Kid Cudi, he will always be the man on the moon, in his Cudi zone. The lightning current attached between the top of their two heads portrays the magic they create when they collaborate their ideas and talents. A little over a year later, I revisited the design and wanted to release this to my supporters. It would have to be an Art Package and not just a pin. I wanted to give people the opportunity of getting inside my head as an artist and my story behind how Kanye and Kid Audi's music has impacted my life over the past ten years.

Art Print + Enamel Pin

Every package included a 8"x10" high-quality art print, signed, and numbered with an enamel pin, a collectors item of the songs they have collaborated on and of course a tailored thank you note for each collector. Each enamel pin included every collectors order number (1-50) layered on the back of the pin. Exclusivity is key to every limited edition product

Playlist

I hired a DJ to mix the songs I put together that Kanye West and Kid Cudi have collared on. I sent each collector a private link to stream the playlist on Soundcloud after purchasing this package. I curated the experience exactly how I wanted it to sound. .

Marketing | social gifs

Before I released the art package to the public, I created these typewriter glitch gifs to build up the suspense for the drop. I posted these gifs to my instagram feed and story. The last gif flashes with the text + Experience art and music together.

Blog Post

I wanted to give my supporters a piece of me through my art and the love I have for music by writing a blog post about my story on why I created this Art Package. People love to connect and know why we do the things that we do, so I did just that.
