JU + DESIGN is rooted in the belief that design should be felt, not just seen. Each project, whether a brand identity, a campaign, or a handcrafted object, is approached with the same intention: to engage the senses, evoke emotion, and shift perception. What began in 2017 with a sold-out collection of Prismacolor portraits at a Houston art show has grown into an expansive creative practice, with products carried in over 25 storefronts nationwide and internationally.

The Founder

Alexandria Judie, known as Ju, is a multidisciplinary designer and the founder of JU + DESIGN. A Louisiana State University graduate, she began her professional career in architecture and landscape architecture, where she developed an understanding of how structure, material, and space shape the way people move through and experience the world. That training never left her. It lives in every brand she builds, every object she creates, and every campaign she directs.

Her practice spans creative direction, art direction, brand development, ceramics, and product design, guided by the belief that the idea determines the medium. Ju has led 360 campaigns, shaped brand identities, and created functional and sculptural objects, all with a consistent commitment to craft, intention, and impact. Her work includes collaborations with Nike, Target, Google, and Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen, with pieces placed in institutions such as the MOCA Design Store.
